Prolonged Break

Alrighty, superstars... I have some announcements for you guy.

TWG will currently be on a possible month-long hiatus, per GM Leaders. The reasoning behind that is because the coders for TWG will be completely re-writing the game itself, down to the nitty-gritty and making a lot of new changes over the coming weeks. The GM Leaders have been in talks with us GMs and we have made a couple of our own requests here and there that remain to be made, but are being currently looked upon. Several topics of discussion are:

- (Official) New TWG Layout.
- (Official) GMs being paid bonuses for their rankings.
- Additional Match Types (Ironman, HIAC, Triple Threat, Fatal Fourways, etc.)
- Awarding TPs to GMs/rosters for their hard work
- (Official) Awarding an additional percentage bonus to certain superstars per match/role playing.
- Tournament Matches, and possibly Battle Royale type matches
- A "Fire" or "Dismissal" Button for all of the trouble making superstars still contracted to the federation.
- Returning the "Voting" System for shows.

- All of the topics above have been up for discussion, amongst other ideas, and word is that several will be approved. I especially like the idea to give an additional percentage to the superstars who work harder in role playing; gives more of an incentive to do so. But this is where we are at.

- Furthermore, I love the plethora of roleplays and visuals sent by you guys. Shows that you care about our lil' ol' fed here. Keep it up, because I will implement the percentage addition for those of you who do!

- Ratings for this season are all FUBAR, because the GML Maxolino was gone for three weeks, and furthermore, TKellionaire is the Hardcore Wrestling GM, and he is a top dog in the GML standings. Therefore, he is favored amongst the GM Leaders. I just hope his Fed is sent up and away from our fed. It'll give us a better chance next time.

- I am working on getting rid of 9-10 wrestlers this season, because there are some who just don't even bother with roleplaying, and plus have a high contract and no entrances.

- Congratulations on a great season, and hopefully this next upcoming season, we actually have good roleplayers and a kickass season!!

So wait a second, you mean they are going to shut the fucking servers down for a code rewrite? I am really hope I am misunderstanding this. If this game shuts down for a month they will lose a lot of players. Hell with all the issues they have been having and the lack of flexibility on the interface I a really starting to kick around the idea of starting game.

I dont think theyre going to shut down for an entire month; I think that they will periodically do maintenance work throughout the month. It will take a month for them to re-write the code and add things in, and take things out. TWG has a whole new staff working on things and making things a bit more simpler (hopefully).

The month hiatus is strictly for the shows and federations; instead of a 2-3 week, it will be 3-4 weeks. Regular play will still remain.

@Troy: You wont lose your contract... as long as you don't delete it, you will still be a part of the roster.

@Marynhu: This wont be a reset; TWG Coders are just rewriting the game layout, making updates and such. Your character will be left alone.

Nothing really. I don't think you get paid for matches and stuff. If you still do, then I guess nothing happens when it runs out, but, if you want a promotion or something (like, say you're a jobber that won a championship, immediate main event status) then you need a new contract.
